Launching an office-less company

With experts predicting that brick-and-mortar offices will soon be a thing of the past and more technologies such as the video conferencing website Skype entering the workplace, it may be a wise decision to consider incorporating your business from home.

In a day-and-age where most people are always on the go, this approach seems to make sense. It also allows for entrepreneurs to be in contact with employees and clients while still maintaining a life outside of their work, tending to families and staying social.

Danny Wong, a bootstrapper who co-founded custom men's shirt company, Black Label, has never opened an office. He didn't want to pay to rent a space, instead opting to video chat with employees when needed, Inc. magazine reported.

For many, the money isn't what makes working outside of the office attractive, however. Instead, it is the commute, which takes all of a few steps. According the the source, home-based franchises often grow during a recession. But, given the times and experts' opinions, virtual offices seem to be a trend that is here to stay.
